ABOUT THE CA-TF3 FOUNDATION

The California Task Force 3 Foundation is a charitable organization as defined by the IRS in Section 501 (c)(3) of the 1986 IRS Code.   It was officially recognized by the IRS in May of 2023 and was determined to be exempt from federal income tax in November of 2023.  It is also qualified to receive tax deductible  bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522.   (EIN 93-1496188) 

The Foundation has a 3 person Executive Board and has regular meetings.  It operates out of Menlo Park Fire Protection District's Urban Search and Rescue Warehouse at 2470 Pulgas Avenue, East Palo Alto Ca, 94303.   

The Foundation exists to raise funds and receive charitable donations to distribute for charitable purposes in support of the Urban Search and Rescue Program known as California Task Force 3. To make a donation to the California Task Force 3 Foundation please go to  https://www.catf3.org/donations.
